Giving, caring and always sharing – that’s the Duncaster way.
Founded in 1994 as a separate charitable entity, The Duncaster Foundation is the philanthropic heart of our community. Created by residents for residents. The Foundation exists for one purpose: to support the Duncaster community and improve overall resident quality of life.
The Foundation is home to several Endowments and multiple purpose-restricted funds. One of the earliest funds to be created, The Residents Assistance Fund, provides a powerful safety net for residents facing financial difficulty. It provides as little or as much assistance as one needs, ensuring that no Life Care resident has ever had to leave Duncaster due to financial hardship.
Throughout Duncaster’s 35-year history, generous resident gifts have supported both the day-to-day operation of our community and provided funding to support extensive capital projects such as the construction of our 5-Star, CMS-rated, skilled nursing center, Caleb Hitchcock; the construction and renovation of our Aquatic & Fitness Center, Terrace Dining Room, Courtyard Café, and Birch Grove.
There are many reasons to make a gift to Duncaster, but the best reason is the one most dear to you. Schedule an appointment today with Foundation Director Barry Tomlinson and let your passion fuel your philanthropy.
